The long-awaited day arrived for our son. He moved to his own place on June 13th.
Now a lot of people who knew us probably wondered why our son remained at home for as long as he did. Our relationship with him is a good one. We respected each other's space most of the time.
For the most of his stay with us, he was considered part-time in recreation but worked 40+ hours. In October 2011 he finally gained full-time status but in traffic engineering with a pay-raise. He was happy...full benefits but still wanted to be in recreation.
Waiting patiently is not easy. The first part of 2013 was an answer to prayer as he was promoted back to recreation as Recreation Supervisor...with another pay raise. Thank you Lord!
I am so proud of his accomplishments and believe he has learned a good lesson in patience. His hard work in everything he does has been noticed and for this, I am grateful. He is a hard worker (and I know I'm his bragging mom).
So now we are here at this time in his life...he is beginning a new journey.

after a hard day's work of moving him.
